Do you provide the alcohol?
No, we unfortunately cannot provide this. On the brightside, this will limit the overall expense and allows you to keep or return the extra alcohol. We can provide our recommended purchase list for your party.
What is included in your service packages?
See our services page for all the information concerning pricing and packages.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, and our bartenders are trained on over-serving and avoiding a problem before it begins. We will not serve a minor and will require proper identification upon request. We carry General Liability and Liquor Liability Insurance. Some venues require additional insurance.
How many bartenders will I need for my guest count?
Usually, the industry standard is 1 bartender per 50 guests to keep lines moving.
What kind of space/setup do you require?
If you are only hiring a bartender, the space needed is minimal. We'd need a space to set up the alcohol and any coolers we would have access to for the canned or bottled drinks. We'd need a flat surface to make drinks on and serve the cocktails. If you have rented a bar for the event, we'd need space for the 5 foot bar as well as a 5 foot area behind the bar to work with as well as an area in front of the bar for guests. If you decide to rent our Custom Bar Trailer, we'd need a flat, level surface for the bar trailer as well as a route to access the trailer with the truck that towed it to the event.
Do you handle the setup and breakdown?
The set up time is included in the fee. Usual set up time is approximately 30 minutes.
Can we create a custom "Signature Cocktail" menu?
Yes. See our A La Carte menu on the Services Page.
Do you provide non-alcoholic options or "Mocktails"?
Yes. See our A La Carte menu on the Services Page.
Do you provide glassware or high-quality disposables?
While we do have the option to rent glassware, renting glass is elegant but expensive; we use high end plastic-wear that is disposable. Cups, napkins and straws are an add-on for our "Hire a Coastal Bartender", but is included in our other two packages.
How do you handle "Tipping"?
A gratutiy cup is usually put on the bar unless a "Host Gratuity" is discussed. Depending on the services, a "Host Gratuity" is usually between $2 and $4 per guest.
How much alcohol should I buy?
We have an Alcohol Purchasing Guide included in our "Coastal Essentials" and "Coastal Elegance" packages and as an add on for our "Hire a Coastal Bartender" Package. We have also partnered with a local Liquor Store Franchise that has offered a "Buy Back" Program. This program allows for the client to return any unopened alcohol.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Once you book your event, a non-refundable deposit is required to secure your event date. In the event that you have to cancel, the deposit will be held but may be used if you reschedule your event for a different date.
